Sara & Travis-Engaged

You wouldn't believe the surprise I got with these two! They originally met over three years ago and were just friends. Ehren and I instantly liked Travis (me with the long term memory of an elephant) specifically remember telling Ehren that I bet these two will get married down the road and he agreed. Well, eventually life took them in different directions and they went their separate ways. During the course of the next three years, he would check in on her from time to time to see how she was doing and how life was treating her. Well, just a couple of months ago as my sister was finally out of a relationship they agreed to visit each other. That lead to both of them calling me out of the blue two days ago and asking for my blessing in getting married!!! I was SOOOO excited as of course I felt he was the right guy for my baby sister, excited to shoot their engagement photos, and excited and stressed at the same time that I had ten days to plan their wedding (which a photog friend will share after the wedding)what a load to have put on ya overnight right??!! So off we went to the shoot! I couldn't be more ecstatic with the way their turned out, exactly as I pictured and everyone loved them! Here are a few of my favorites from their shoot!

Ok, so this one I have to share the makings of...So Sara was wearing these awesome 5" leopard heels that kept sinking in ground, so less than a quarter way through the shoot, he decided to pick her up and carry her everywhere we needed to go to get the shots(how awesome is that?!) and so as we were leaving the shoot spot, he picks her up and being behind them I see them, the sunset, and I saw the most perfect shot EVER in my head and had to snap it! What do you think? Couldn't get anymore romantic right?
